Happy Harmony

Wow, December was flying by!
I finally updated new pictures from my dollhouse "Happy Harmony".
I prepared this in 2009.

Cute baby girl is made by Catherine Muniere.
I made toy piano.  Keyboard was cut from Chrysnbon's kit.

I gave her a pose playing piano....singing along with her 'friends'.

Morning Glory of Love

This is my latest vignette.
"Morning Glory of Love" is the title. 1/12 scale.

I found this birdcage at interior(Zakka)shop in Tokyo.
You can open wide the top of a half round "lid".

It is a corner of garden.
I made this storage from scratch.
Iron parts I got from the US.

I prepared this morning glory flowers by paper kits.

I have been collecting those garden tools and goods.

Beach Scenes

Finally put this merbaby...made by Todd Krueger.
Todd is one of my most favorite miniature artist.

Beach Making 4

1...Glue sand. I got this sand at an art supply store in Tokyo.
2....Place fence, boat and rocks. Add foliage and grass.
3....Pour clear resin. Let it be hardened.
4....Add clear gel medium making for wave. Make wave with toothpick.
After drying it becomes clear. At the edge of the "water" add a bit
of white sand. It looks bubbles.
I got that clear gel medium at the art supply store.

Beach Making 3

Now I get back to the Beach Making.

1, I cut styrofoam by a special saw. The special saw means it just for styrofoam.

2, Set and glue the styrofoam to the base. Cover the styrofoam by Plaster Cloth.

3, I cut the wooden boat.  I bought this boat at the gift shop nea  the sea. I think
you can get this boat at miniature shop as well.

4, Think about layout. I am just doing it as trial.
